The University of Mosul Hosts the Annual Skills Exhibition for the Development of Illiteracy Learners’ Abilities in Nineveh

The University of Mosul hosted the annual Skills Festival organized by the Nineveh Directorate of Education on Monday, December 15, 2025, under the slogan “A Thinking Mind and a Working Hand.” The event was attended by Dr. Muzahim Al-Samarrai, the Deputy Minister of Education and Executive Director of the Ministry, and Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the President of the University. This event is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support creative talents and develop practical skills among the learners.
The festival featured an exhibition of the products and skills of learners in literacy programs, showcasing the progress made in empowering participants both intellectually and practically. It highlighted the program’s efforts to foster creativity and production capabilities. The activities also underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and supporting literacy efforts, which serve as a cornerstone for building individuals and a society enriched with knowledge, thereby reinforcing its developmental role.
