The Electronic Computing Center at the University of Mosul organized a specialized workshop titled “Digital Rights and the Protection of Data and Information Privacy” on Monday, December 15, 2025. The workshop aimed to highlight the concepts of digital rights and their importance in light of the rapid technological transformation, along with the challenges related to information security and privacy protection.

The workshop covered the key precautionary measures and procedures necessary to protect data from breaches or violations that could impact personal and institutional information security. It also included in-depth scientific discussions on how to apply data protection standards in real-world work environments, as part of the center’s continuous efforts to enhance digital awareness and equip its staff with modern knowledge tools.
