Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibraheemi, President of the University of Mosul, and as part of the university’s efforts, represented by the Mosul Studies Center, to build bridges of scientific and academic cooperation with Iraqi universities, particularly those in Nineveh Governorate, the Mosul Studies Center, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning at the University Presidency, carried out a volunteer initiative. This initiative involved providing Tal Afar University with over ninety books in various scientific disciplines.

The initiative included books in key areas that contribute to supporting the specialized fields of Tal Afar University, in addition to a collection of important and recent publications. This reflects the spirit of integration and solidarity among higher education institutions and directly contributes to enhancing the academic environment and achieving the sustainable development goals in universities.
