The College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul, in collaboration with the Human Rights Unit and the Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, organized an awareness lecture titled “Professional Ethics and Patient Rights” on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The lecture targeted faculty members and students of the college, as part of the university’s efforts to support the culture of human rights and promote proper professional practices within academic and healthcare institutions.

The event aimed to instill the principles of medical ethics and raise participants’ awareness of patient rights, particularly their right to receive a safe healthcare environment based on mutual respect and trust. This initiative contributes to improving the quality of healthcare services and reflects the university’s role in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and raising community awareness.
