On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, conducted an inspection visit to the Continuing Education Center to monitor the administrative and academic work in progress. He met with the center’s manager and staff, emphasizing the vital role the center plays in bridging the relationship between the university and the community through training courses and developmental programs that contribute to enhancing the skills of employees and graduates.

During the visit, an overview of the current and future training plans was presented. The University President directed that the latest technological methods be adopted in training, and that the scope of the programs be expanded to include specialized fields that meet labour market needs. He also commended the center’s efforts in maintaining scientific contributions, stressing the full support of the university administration for all initiatives aimed at developing human resource skills, implementing automation and modern technologies, and reinforcing the position of the University of Mosul as a beacon of knowledge and science.
