University of Mosul Delegation Participates in the “National Day for the Holy Quran” Events in Baghdad

Under the patronage and attendance of Prime Minister Engineer Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and a number of scientific and academic figures, the College of Islamic Sciences Council, led by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Taha Hamad Mukhlef, participated in the National Day for the Holy Quran celebration, representing the University of Mosul. The event took place on Saturday, February 17, 2026, in the Shaheed Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad.
This celebration aims to embody the noble meanings of the Holy Quran as a comprehensive guide for life and a fundamental source for instilling ethical and humanitarian values. It also highlights the Quran’s role in strengthening the cultural and intellectual identity of society. The event underscores the importance of academic and institutional participation in supporting national events with religious and cultural significance.
