The College of Medicine at the University of Mosul, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning, launched the activities of the National Quran Day with a scientific workshop focused on the impact of Quranic values in promoting health and human awareness, linking them to the Sustainable Development Goals, and emphasizing the close relationship between the Quranic text and medical sciences. The workshop also highlighted the role of the Arabic language in preserving cultural identity, alongside an informative presentation showcasing the impact of the Holy Quran in purifying the soul and building a mentally and physically healthy society.

The event was marked by a knowledge-sharing atmosphere, featuring a major Quranic competition, which concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners. This step reflects the university’s commitment to integrating spiritual knowledge with scientific research, aligning with its vision of building an aware and productive individual.
