British Ambassador to Baghdad, Stephen Hickey paid a visit to University of Mosul on Thursday, February 4th, 2021.Accompanied by Rector Assistant, Prof. Dr. Munir Salim Taha, Governor of Nineveh, Mr. Najm Al-Juboori, and officials of the UNDP, the visitors toured the campus and stopped at the projects funded by the UNDP, which include the reconstruction works at the Central Library and the Grand Occasions Hall sites.The Ambassador discussed with the officials the projects that may be covered by the UK and voiced his support for the reconstruction works and projects necessary for the University and Mosul.Later, a burned paper of the remains of the burned Central Library was presented to the Ambassador, a token.
