Assistant Professor, Dr. Dhiya Mohammed Taher Jawhar of College of Veterinary Medicine, achieved a scientific accomplishment by discovering a new bacterial strain in Iraq.The discovery came through a research by the scholar, in which he sought the causes of the inflammation that smites the udders of sheep usually caused by Enterobacter sp.Noteworthy is that the strain, which was registered for the scholar, was registered in the Iraqi Gene Bank, reference no.
