The Educational Lake at the University of Mosul hosted the closing activities of the First Aquatic Scout Camp on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in the presence of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul; Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Abboudi, Director of the Nineveh Directorate of Education; as well as a number of officials and scout leaders.

The University’s hosting of the camp comes as part of its continued support for youth and scouting activities and reflects its commitment to providing a university environment that encourages initiatives aimed at developing young people’s skills and strengthening the values of teamwork, volunteerism, belonging, and community service.

The closing ceremony featured a variety of scouting activities and events, in addition to honoring the participants and the entities that contributed to the success of the camp.
