In a step that reflects its ambitious vision for global academic openness, the University of Mosul hosted an important visit by a delegation from the Atlantic Council’s Middle East programs, headed by Ms. Victoria Taylor, Director of the Iraq and Syria Initiative.

The university leadership, represented by Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim and Assistant President for Administrative Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan, accompanied the visiting delegation on a field tour that highlighted the scale of the university’s urban development and its commitment to the principles of sustainable development.
