A research team from the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul has made a notable contribution by publishing a high-quality scientific paper in the Journal of Composites Science, a Q1-ranked journal indexed in Scopus, with a CiteScore of 6.7.

The paper, entitled:

“Structural Response of Thin-Web Beams to Various Web Opening Retrofit Techniques”

The Research team included Assistant Professor Dr. Uday Asal Saleh, Assistant Professor Dr. Qithar Abdul-Wahab Ibrahim, Lecturer Mohammed Hisham Shukr, Professor Dr. Suhaib Yahya Qasim, and Professor Dr. Sufyan Younis Ahmed.

This scientific achievement reflects the University of Mosul’s academic and research standing at both the national and international levels.
