President of the University of Mosul Reviews Academic and Infrastructural Developments at the College of Arts

 

As part of the university’s approach to field follow-up and direct engagement with the needs of its academic units, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, visited the College of Arts and met with its Dean, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Al-Taee, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim.

During the visit, the University President reviewed the college’s current operations and the scientific, academic, and administrative developments it has been witnessing. He listened to the key needs and challenges facing its work and discussed ways to overcome and address them in order to ensure smooth performance and support development plans.

Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi emphasized that field visits represent a fundamental part of the university administration’s approach to directly identifying needs, accelerating the resolution of obstacles, and strengthening communication with colleges and their departments, in a way that enhances the quality of the university environment and improves academic and institutional performance.

The meeting also included discussions on a number of future-oriented files and visions related to the college, as part of the University of Mosul’s efforts to support its academic units and enable them to continue developing and advancing their scientific and educational mission.
