In line with its commitment to community service, strengthening cooperation with state institutions, and consolidating its role as an active academic institution within society, the President of the University of Mosul received on 20 September, Mr. Khalil Sharif, Director of the Hajj and Umrah Commission Office in Nineveh Governorate. During the meeting, an agreement was reached for the university to host the Hajj selection lottery for pilgrims for the next four years.

The lottery is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Itimadya Hall (Accreditation Hall) in the College of Medicine, University of Mosul.
