The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Requirements for Transformation from Traditional Service Quality to Digital Service Quality / An Exploratory Study for a Number of Banks in the City of Mosul”.
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.
The current study submitted by the student “Zahraa Samir Abdul Bari” in the Department of Industrial Management seeks to identify the requirements for the transformation towards the quality of digital services for a number of banks in the city of Mosul, and based on reference studies, the study identified ten requirements for digital quality divided into two groups, the first functional requirements and represented by (cultural change, leadership and support for senior management, learning and training skills, participation, cooperation and empowerment, and strategic change), and the second group is the technical requirements and represented by (Big Data and Analytics, Communications and Networks, Cybersecurity, Supporting Applications, and Scalability).
The study reached conclusions, most notably: there were no significant differences for the study sample in the availability of functional requirements with significant differences in the availability of technical requirements, and the indication that the Ashur Bank ranked first for the study sample as the best bank to provide the requirements of the transition towards the quality of digital services.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Al-Jubouri, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Sattar Al-Hafez and Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam Mustafa from Maysan University, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ali Ismail.
