The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Green Hospitals: An Introduction to Promoting Sustainable Development: An Analytical Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Workers in Mosul City Hospitals”.
The current study presented by the student “Qusai Idris Hamad Al-Rashdi” in the Department of Business Administration aimed to identify the concept of green hospitals and the extent of their contribution through their dimensions represented in the driving dimension, the chemicals dimension, the waste dimension, the energy dimension, the water dimension, the purchase dimension, in promoting sustainable development represented in its three dimensions (the social dimension, the economic dimension, the environmental dimension).

The study reached conclusions, most notably: the existence of a significant impact relationship at the macro level of green hospitals in promoting sustainable development, as well as the existence of a significant impact relationship at the micro level for each dimension of green hospitals in promoting sustainable development.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Youssef Hajeem Sultan from the University of Kufa, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Ismail Hadid, and Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Muhammad Abdullah, and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam Yahya Al-Hamdani.
