College of Administration and Economics

Under the patronage and follow-up of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights, organized a workshop entitled “The Right to Development.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Nagham Luqman and held in Hall No. (2) at 10:30 AM.

The workshop addressed the concept of the right to development as one of the pillars of human rights, highlighting the importance of community participation, justice in the distribution of resources and opportunities, as well as the main challenges hindering fair development.

The workshop was supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, along with a number of professors, staff, and students. The workshop witnessed active participation from the attendees, which contributed to raising awareness on the issues discussed.
