The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Holds a Higher Diploma Thesis Defense on Talent Management and Team Effectiveness

The University of Mosul – College of Administration and Economics – Department of Industrial Management witnessed, on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, the defense of a Higher Diploma thesis entitled “The Role of Talent Management in Enhancing Team Effectiveness,” submitted by the student Abdullah Amer Abdulrahim.
The study aimed to clarify the role of talent management in enhancing team effectiveness through an exploratory study conducted on a sample of employees at the North Refineries Company – Qayyarah Refinery. This topic is considered one of the contemporary administrative issues that has received increasing attention in light of rapid changes in the business environment and intensified competition among organizations.
The study reached several findings, most notably the existence of positive and statistically significant correlation and impact relationships between talent management, with its various dimensions, and team effectiveness. The results showed that organizations adopting effective talent management practices are more capable of enhancing team performance, increasing levels of cooperation and harmony among employees, and achieving higher levels of organizational efficiency.
