The President of the University of Mosul Affirms Support for Administrative Staff During Meeting with Employees of the College of Administration and Economics

As part of efforts to strengthen institutional communication and enhance administrative performance, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, accompanied by the Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Rifl Hassan Hamed, met with the staff of the College of Administration and Economics on Monday, 19 January 2026, in Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, along with his assistants for scientific, administrative, and financial affairs. During the meeting, the University President discussed the current state of administrative work at the college and listened to the key challenges facing the administrative staff. He affirmed the university leadership’s commitment to addressing these challenges in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, in a manner that ensures the improvement of the university work environment.
The meeting covered several important topics, including study leave, various types of leave, and mechanisms for allocating land to university employees. The University President provided comprehensive explanations regarding the approved controls and procedures, stressing the university’s support for the academic and professional development of administrative staff.
At the conclusion of the meeting, staff members were given the opportunity to present their remarks directly. The University President directed the relevant departments to follow up on the issues raised and work toward finding appropriate solutions, in a way that enhances job stability and advances administrative performance within the college.
