“Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption” – A title of a Training Course conducted at the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research.

The Center organized a training course entitled “Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption” on Monday, May 4, 2026, which will continue for two days. The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Abdulkhaleq Mutlaq Saleh, from the College of Law, University of Mosul.

The course addressed the issue of administrative and financial corruption, which is one of the most prominent challenges facing countries and institutions due to its direct impact on economic development, social stability, and citizens’ trust in government agencies.    The course aims to define the concepts of combating administrative and financial corruption in order to build an institutional environment based on integrity and transparency, and to raise awareness of the risks of corruption and its negative effects on development and stability.

The lectures of this course align with the Sustainable Development Goals, including:

  • Goal 1 (No Poverty)
