The Department of English at the College of Arts held a defense for a master's thesis on Monday, August 25, 2025. The thesis is titled "A Pragmatic Analysis of Pun in Selected Modern English Novels." A part of the defense was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Ta'i, the Head of the Department, Dr. Salih Abdullah Abdulrahman, and several faculty members.
