The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts successfully defended a Higher Diploma dissertation titled "Voter Apathy in Local Council Elections and its Reflection on Societal Peace" on Monday, May 27, 2025. The defense was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Al-Taie, the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Firas Abbas Fadhel, and several faculty members from the college.
