A number of graduate students from the Department of Sociology at the College of Arts participated in the "Participatory Research—Tools for Supporting Localization" program organized by the Center for Peacebuilding at New York University (NYU). The program included a series of lectures and discussions that addressed mechanisms for community involvement in diagnosing problems affecting social peace and finding appropriate solutions for them.
