University of Mosul participates in the national conference to address school dropout in Baghdad

The University of Mosul participated in the national conference to address the phenomenon of school dropout, which was held in the capital Baghdad, with wide academic participation, to discuss the challenges and possible solutions to reduce this phenomenon and its impact on the future of education in Iraq.
The University was represented by the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hayam Adel Al-Taie, and the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Safa al-Din Abdullah Suleiman, along with a number of academic staff from both colleges. The scientific committee of the conference was headed by Prof. Dr. Fadel Khalil Ibrahim from the College of Basic Education.
During the conference sessions, researchers presented academic insights and research studies that addressed the causes of school dropout and ways to address it through effective educational policies, with a focus on sustainable solutions that ensure that students remain in the educational track.
The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Eng. Mohammed Shi’a Al-Sudani, in the presence and support of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Nams Al-Jubouri, under the supervision of the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Education Affairs, Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj, and in cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Education, as part of the Iraqi government’s efforts to promote education and ensure continuity of the educational process for all students.
