The Colleges of Law and Political Science, in cooperation with the Office of the Popular Mobilization Commission in Nineveh Governorate, held a scientific seminar entitled “State Constants and National Security Requirements – An Integrative Vision between the Legislative Framework and Field Reality” on Monday, January 12, 2026.

The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of integration between legislative frameworks and practical realities in strengthening national security and consolidating state constants. It also discussed the current challenges facing national institutions and ways to address them from both legal and security perspectives. Such forums come within the framework of enhancing the efforts of the concerned colleges at the University of Mosul and highlighting their active role in raising academic awareness and strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and bodies concerned with national security.
