On January 19, 2026, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, met with the administrative staff from the Colleges of Arts, Administration and Economics, Education for Humanities, Education for Pure Sciences, Computer Science and Mathematics, and Agriculture and Forestry. The meeting was dedicated to following up on administrative and legal files related to employees’ service affairs.

During the meeting, the mechanisms for handling administrative requirements for faculty and staff in these colleges were reviewed, along with ways to enhance institutional performance. There were in-depth discussions on simplifying procedures related to grants, promotions, and requests for transfers and leaves.

The President of the University emphasized giving top priority to completing these tasks within the specified timelines and instructed the administrative staff to leverage technical resources to ensure data accuracy and protect employees’ rights. This, he noted, will contribute to a stable work environment and drive administrative performance towards greater efficiency and transparency.
