University of Mosul Participates in the Meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Islamic Sciences at the University of Samarra

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Mosul participated in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Islamic Sciences at Iraqi universities, held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with the attendance of its Dean, Professor Dr. Taha Hamad Mukhlef, along with a number of deans of counterpart colleges from Iraqi universities.
The meeting discussed several shared academic and administrative issues, prospects for developing curricula, exchanging research expertise, and enhancing academic coordination in ways that contribute to advancing the level of education and scientific research. Emphasis was placed on the importance of unifying efforts and joint action among Colleges of Islamic Sciences.
The visit also included a prior meeting with Dr. Nafi’ Al-Khazaei, Secretary of the Al-Askari Holy Shrine in Samarra, to underscore the depth of the relationship between academic institutions and holy shrines, and to highlight the role of partnership in supporting scientific and cultural projects and serving the community.
