As part of instilling a culture of direct communication and responsible listening, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, met on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, with a number of university staff members and citizens as part of his weekly program. He listened to their educational and administrative concerns, reaffirming the university’s ongoing efforts to find solutions that support a successful academic journey based on continuous development.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, Assistant to the President for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Bassel Khalaf Hamoud, Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Nineveh Branch, Professor Dr. Saba Khair Al-Din, Head of the Citizens’ Affairs Unit at the University Presidency, and Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman, Director of the Media and Government Communication Department.
