A Hand That Builds and a Mind That Plans: The University of Mosul at the Heart of the Field

From the ancient alleys of Mosul, where life pulses with the sweat of hardworking individuals, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chose to announce a new dawn for cooperation.
Accompanied by a distinguished academic team (the Administrative Assistant and Deans of the Colleges of Computer Science, Business and Economics, and Fine Arts), the university stepped out of its offices to join the makers of life in the markets, bringing with it the “Shareek” initiative.
This is not just a project, but an academic pledge to harness the energies of youth and the innovations of the colleges (Business and Economics, Computer Science, and Fine Arts) to serve artisans and develop their projects with modern scientific and artistic touches.
The goal is for the artisan to no longer face the challenges of the modern age alone, but to have the university as a strong supporter, beautifying and refining their work.
The event: On April 8, 2026, we meet at the “Made in Nineveh” exhibition, where we will celebrate together the fruits of this historic collaboration between scientific expertise and the determination of work.
