On Thursday, February 12, 2026, the University of Mosul organized a joint scientific seminar hosted by the College of Environmental Sciences / Department of Environmental Health, in collaboration with the College of Medicine – University of Nineveh, titled “Integration Between Medicine and Environmental Sciences Towards a Sustainable Healthy Society”.

The seminar discussed enhancing research partnerships between the two fields to tackle health and environmental challenges, highlighting the impact of environmental factors on human health and supporting preventive medicine and sustainability. Topics covered included pollution, climate change, diseases, and research collaboration prospects, along with specialized lectures on environmental medicine, green hospitals, and related legislation.
