International Scientific Collaboration at the University of Mosul Leads to Publication in a Q1 Global Journal

The University of Mosul, represented by the College of Veterinary Medicine, has achieved a distinguished scientific milestone through a research publication by Assistant Professor Dr. Zeyad Makram Yousif, in collaboration with researchers from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
The study was published in the international journal Animals, issued by MDPI, and ranked within the first quartile (Q1) in both Scopus and Clarivate databases.
The research investigated the effect of centrifugation of equine semen prior to freezing, demonstrating improved sperm viability and efficiency after thawing, which enhances the practical applicability of this technique.
This publication highlights the importance of international research collaboration in advancing scientific solutions and strengthening the global academic standing of the University of Mosul.
