In a new scientific achievement, the University of Mosul has witnessed the publication of a research study by Prof. Dr. Imad Farhan Ali Obeid in the journal Pharmacy Practice, ranked within the first quartile (Q1) in both Scopus and Clarivate databases.
The study investigates platelet concentrates and their role in tissue regeneration, with a particular focus on the injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF) technique. This method utilizes growth factors derived from the patient’s own blood to enhance bone and gum healing while reducing the need for invasive treatment procedures.
