The President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, received the visiting delegation of the field evaluation team affiliated with the Iraqi Council for Engineering Education Accreditation, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering and the Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance.

The visit aimed to evaluate the bachelor’s program of Environmental Engineering at the College of Engineering as part of the academic accreditation process. During the meeting, discussions focused on the current status of the academic program and the university’s efforts to institutionalize quality assurance and accreditation standards in alignment with the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Iraq.

The evaluation team praised the advanced level of the College of Engineering, commending the efforts of the university presidency and the college administration in reinforcing quality standards. They also highlighted the strong support of the university president and the active role of the dean in following up accreditation requirements, noting that such efforts reflect a level of excellence that places the university among the leading institutions in Iraq.
