The President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, received Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat at the university presidency headquarters in a meeting aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and addressing the needs of the university’s distinguished graduates.

The visit included a special and productive meeting with a group of top-ranking graduates from the medical fields, during which discussions focused on mechanisms to facilitate their application and enrollment in Board certification programs (medical specialization), as well as overcoming any administrative or academic challenges that may affect their academic journey.

The meeting highlighted the active and supportive role of Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat in nurturing these talented individuals. He emphasized mobilizing all available resources to support top medical graduates and ensure they receive the opportunities they deserve to pursue postgraduate specialization, enabling them to contribute effectively to the healthcare sector and society.

In turn, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi affirmed that the University of Mosul places its students—especially high achievers—at the forefront of its priorities. He praised the constructive collaboration with prominent academic and national figures such as Dr. Al-Khayyat and stressed that the university presidency remains fully committed to supporting its students and opening pathways for their future success.
