As part of the activities of the National Afforestation Day, the Educational Child Lab at the University of Mosul organized a tree-planting campaign in the lab’s gardens, with the participation of children alongside its administration. Various types of plants and shrubs were planted in a practical step aimed at fostering a spirit of responsibility and teamwork among children, while raising their awareness of the importance of protecting the environment from pollution and spreading greenery in their surroundings.

The campaign came as a reflection of the University of Mosul’s approach in embracing and encouraging the talents of its members, including the children of the lab, and directing these efforts in alignment with achieving sustainable development goals and promoting a green environment.
