Assistant Professor Asmaa Khalid Jarjees, a faculty member at the University of Mosul, participated in a panel discussion held as part of the First Conference on the Victims of Al-Khasfa Mass Grave, organized by Al-Anqaa Organization and Bytna Foundation for Arts, Culture, and Heritage.

The conference witnessed broad official and public attendance, led by the families of the victims, alongside government, judicial, security, religious, and academic figures, as well as sheikhs and prominent community leaders from Mosul and representatives of civil society organizations.

The conference emphasized the importance of documenting collective memory, preserving the rights of the victims and their families, and shedding light on the Al-Khasfa issue as a matter concerning the city, the memory of its society, and a shared responsibility that requires justice and ensures that the victims are not forgotten.
