The German delegation for the solar energy project at the University of Mosul has commenced its work, with support from the German Development Bank (KfW), to finalize the technical and administrative arrangements and complete the requirements for signing the Memorandum of Understanding, paving the way for the project’s actual implementation.

The project represents a strategic step toward renewable energy, as its benefits will extend beyond the university to serve Nineveh Governorate and the wider community. It reaffirms the University of Mosul’s role in supporting sustainable development and building a greener future.
