The study investigated the beneficial role of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG in oral wound healing in rabbits. It was proved by the study that the oral administration of probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG can fasten and enhance the quality of wound healing of oral mucosa by controlling serum cytokines and modulating the gene expression of inflammatory cytokines in both the wound site and ileal tissue.
