College of Dentistry Organizes a Workshop on Promoting a Culture of Participatory Decision-Making

As part of the Continuing Education activities, the Studies and Planning Division at the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department / Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, organized a workshop entitled “Promoting a Culture of Participatory Decision-Making.” The workshop was held on Monday, 16 February 2026, in the Discussion Hall of the College.
The workshop lecture was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Karam Tawfiq Mohammed Abdullah, who highlighted the importance of institutionalizing a participatory approach in academic administration. He also addressed mechanisms for engaging teaching staff and students in formulating decisions that support the educational process and align with the objectives of sustainable development.
The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, along with a number of faculty members and students. The session witnessed notable interaction through a series of questions and substantive interventions, which were addressed by the lecturer. He emphasized the role of effective communication in enhancing institutional performance and advancing the university environment.
