College of Dentistry Conducts an Educational and Therapeutic Field Visit to Al-Qadiseah Primary School for Girls

Within the framework of its humanitarian mission and social responsibility, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the College of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Unit and the Volunteer Work Unit, organized a field visit to Al-Qadiseah Primary School for Girls. The visit aimed to enhance health awareness and to promote a culture of oral and dental care among primary school pupils.
The visit included the provision of on-site therapeutic services for the diagnosed cases, in addition to delivering simplified educational lectures addressing proper tooth-cleaning methods, the importance of regular dental check-ups, and preventive measures against dental caries and periodontal diseases.
The visiting team also ensured the distribution of moral gifts to the pupils, as a means of support and encouragement to adopt healthy behaviors, within an interactive environment characterized by positivity and a spirit of cooperation.
This initiative comes as an affirmation of the role of the College of Dentistry in serving the community and contributing to the development of an informed generation with improved oral health.
