A Distinguished Literary Achievement by a Student from the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul at the Ninawa Governorate Level

Student Alaa Kawther Ahmed Salih Al-Habbar from the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul has achieved a notable accomplishment by securing first place in the “Mosul Eloquence Award” competition, which was held at the University of Nineveh with broad participation from various age groups.
In her submission, the student addressed the narration of Umm Maabad describing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), highlighting the rhetorical elegance and precision of the text, which qualified her to excel among more than two thousand participants.
This competition is considered one of the most prominent cultural events in the city of Mosul. It was launched with the organization and support of Raseef Al-Kutub, in cooperation with several academic, educational, and cultural institutions, including the University of Nineveh, the Nineveh Directorate of Education, the College of Education for Women at the University of Mosul, and the Mosul Heritage Foundation, in addition to the sponsorship of a number of private schools.
The student was honored during an official ceremony held at the Presidency of the University of Nineveh, attended by a number of academic and educational figures. She was awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of her excellence and for achieving first place in this competition, which is regarded as the largest of its kind at the governorate level.
This achievement reflects the distinction of the students at the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul and their commitment to active participation in cultural and scientific forums, thereby enhancing the college’s standing and its role in supporting student creativity.
