Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and support of both Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry; and Professor Dr. Ali Rajeh Al-Khateeb, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul organized a workshop entitled: “Mechanisms for Marketing Scientific Outputs in the College of Dentistry”

The workshop was held over two days, Wednesday and Thursday, 15–16 April 2026, at the College premises. It was organized by the Scientific Outputs Marketing Unit in cooperation with the Scientific Outputs Marketing Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, with the participation of Next era Marketing Company.

On the first day, the workshop addressed an introduction to the roles and responsibilities of the Scientific Outputs Marketing Unit and its operational mechanisms in supporting researchers and students, as well as transforming their scientific outputs into applicable and marketable projects. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of linking academic outcomes with market needs.

On the second day, the workshop focused on the practical steps for marketing scientific outputs, presenting successful case studies in this field, in addition to discussing ways to develop the skills of academic staff and researchers in marketing their research and scientific products, thereby contributing to community service and enhancing development.

The workshop was attended by a number of academic staff, researchers, postgraduate students, and graduates, who actively engaged with its themes, affirming the importance of such initiatives in fostering innovation and maximizing the utilization of scientific capabilities within the College.
