University of Mosul Holds Workshop on the Arab Plan for Human Rights Education

 

As part of the Continuing Education activities, the Division of Studies and Planning and the Human Rights Unit at the College of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit and the Human Rights Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, organized a specialized workshop entitled “The Arab Plan for Human Rights Education.”

The workshop, hosted in Lecture Hall 2 on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, along with a number of academic staff members and employees interested in legal and human rights matters.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Alyaa Abduljabbar Younis, a member of the Legal Division at the College of Dentistry. During the session, she addressed key aspects related to the concepts of the Arab Plan and the mechanisms for its effective implementation in dealing with human rights issues. She also highlighted the strong linkage between the promotion of human rights culture and the achievement of sustainable development goals, contributing to the enhancement of both the academic and societal environment, and reinforcing the values of justice and equality within educational institutions.
