As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the University and professional community institutions and to activate partnerships between academic institutions and the labour market, a joint visit was conducted to the Iraqi Dental Association by the Head of the Scientific Outputs Marketing Unit at the College of Dentistry, accompanied by the Head of the Scientific Outputs Marketing Division at the University of Mosul Presidency. The visit aimed to explore prospects for joint cooperation and mechanisms for linking university educational outcomes with labour market requirements.

The visit addressed the importance of strengthening communication between the University and the professional sector and making use of scientific and practical expertise and capabilities in ways that contribute to developing students’ skills, aligning educational outcomes with labour market needs, supporting innovation and the marketing of scientific outputs, and translating academic ideas and projects into practical applications that serve the community.

This visit is in line with the University of Mosul’s strategic directions aimed at expanding effective partnerships with professional institutions and enhancing the University’s role in preparing qualified personnel capable of keeping pace with development requirements and changes in the labour market.

At the conclusion of the visit, the College of Dentistry extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Iraqi Dental Association and to Dr Mohammed Numan Al-Mallah, the esteemed President of the Iraqi Dental Association, for the warm reception and cooperation. The College looks forward to fruitful joint initiatives that contribute to achieving integration between university education and professional practice and to enhancing opportunities for innovation and the marketing of scientific outputs.
