The College of Dentistry Embodies Its Humanitarian Mission Through a Visit to Al-Farah Model School

As part of a humanitarian initiative reflecting a sense of social responsibility and promoting the values of solidarity and engagement with various segments of society, a number of faculty members and students from the College of Dentistry visited Al-Farah Model School, in cooperation with the Volunteer Work Unit, the Scientific Affairs Unit, the Human Rights Unit, and the Nobles Team.

The visit included presenting gifts to the pupils and organizing interactive and recreational activities that brought joy to their hearts. It also featured dental examinations for the pupils to assess their oral health and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining good oral and dental hygiene.

The visit was marked by a warm and compassionate atmosphere characterized by affection and interaction. The participants made a point of engaging directly with the pupils, bringing smiles to their faces, and providing them with moral support. This initiative reflects the humanitarian role of academic institutions and highlights the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and volunteer teams in fostering the values of giving and community solidarity.

This initiative reaffirms the College of Dentistry’s commitment to strengthening its community engagement and establishing the concept of university education as an integrated scientific and humanitarian mission. This mission extends beyond preparing professionally qualified graduates to include serving the community, promoting health awareness, and fostering a spirit of initiative and volunteerism among students.
