Conducting a field visit and community service to Al-Baqeea primary school for girls.
A field visit was conducted by our staff members at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to Al-Baqeea primary school for girls on the 20th September/ 2023. The visit aimed to give oral health awareness to the students and basic measures to improve it. An educational lecture was addressed by Lect. Dr. Fahad Mezr Al-Dabagh about oral health followed by fluoride application for students’ teeth. Motivational gifts were given for the students along with dental educational brochures. It is worthy to note that the college of dentistry has set plans to deliver community service and on a broad base outside the university campus in the upcoming years .
