Under the patronage of the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and within the framework of implementing the Third National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University Presidency and the “Health and Values” Project affiliated with the Sunni Endowment Directorate; the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul organized a workshop entitled: “Negative Phenomena Affecting Women.”
The workshop aimed to highlight the most prominent challenges and negative phenomena faced by women in society, and to identify their social and psychological impacts, in addition to proposing methods of intervention and community awareness mechanisms to mitigate them.
The lecture was delivered by International Trainer Engineer Hanaa Ghanim Mohi Al-Din, Head of Women’s Guidance at the Sunni Endowment Directorate. During her presentation, she addressed a set of key themes related to the status of women, providing both scientific and practical insights that contribute to enhancing community awareness and supporting the role and standing of women.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific and awareness-raising activities that the College of Dentistry is keen to organize, in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting women’s issues and strengthening their leading role in community development.
