publishing a new scientific research entitled “Hydrological drought characteristics prediction using traditional models for the Great Zab River in Iraq”
Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Muqdad Abdulghani, Head of Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering, along with his research team (Dr. Khansa Abdullah and Assistant Lecturer Alaa Ismail), published a new research paper in the field of hydrology entitled “Hydrological drought characteristics prediction using traditional models for the Great Zab River in Iraq” in the journal Theoretical and Applied Climatology, which is indexed in both Clarivate and Scopus with an impact factor (IF) of 3.2 and a CiteScore of 6, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
It is worth noting that the research contributes to one of the Sustainable Development Goals related to climate change and drought.
