College of Engineering

Under the direct guidance of Dean of College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoon, and in response to the directives of University of Mosul Presidency regarding the need to follow up safety and security procedures within educational institutions, the Administrative Affairs Division at the College of Engineering, supervised by Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Basam Ihsan Al-Hafidh, conducted a field tour that included the Deanship and all departments.

The aim of this tour was to audit the safety and security measures in buildings, classrooms, and scientific laboratories, and to ensure the readiness of fire suppression systems, emergency exits, and various preventive tools, contributing to a safe educational environment that complies with public safety requirements.

During the tour, emphasis was placed on the importance of all departments adhering to safety instructions and promptly reporting any observations or deficiencies, in order to safeguard the wellbeing of students and staff.

This initiative is part of the College’s ongoing plan to enhance safety and security standards, in alignment with University of Mosul’s vision to provide a safe and healthy educational environment for all its members and students.
