College of Engineering

As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering – University of Mosul, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 Quality Education and Goal 9 Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, two new research papers in the field of Computer Engineering were published by Prof. Salah Abdulghani Al-Abbadi, Head of Computer Engineering Department.

The first paper, in collaboration with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarah Raed, titled “SBER: Stable and Balanced Energy Routing Protocol to Enhance the Stability and Energy for WBANs”, was published on August 26, 2025, in the International Journal of Wireless and Mobile Computing (Scopus-indexed, Q3).

The second paper, in collaboration with Asst. Prof. Dr. Noor Raad, titled “Improve WSN Lifetime Based on K-Means, Genetic Clusters and Data Compression”, was published on August 24, 2025, in the International Journal of Integrated Engineering (Scopus-indexed, Q3).
